What is Wyler Assurance?
Middletown KY drivers can buy with confidence thanks to Wyler Assurance. Wyler Assurance is a limited powertrain warranty that offers six months or 6,000 miles of coverage on select powertrain components. Coverage begins on the date and miles listed on the buyer's order at the time of sale.
Which Cars Are Covered?
Wyler Assurance will only cover vehicles with less than 100,000 miles on them and that are less than ten years old. Vehicles are also required to pass an inspection and reconditioning process before being ready for the St. Matthews, KY roads. Vehicles sold as-is are not eligible, and commercial use by the prospective owner may preclude coverage. Select makes, models, powertrains, and equipment packages are also not covered.
What Does Wyler Assurance Cover?
Wyler Assurance covers internally lubricated parts in the gasoline and diesel engine, including piston rings and pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft and bearings, oil pump, timing chain, gears and/or belt, rocker arms, valves, valve springs, seats and guides, valve push rods and lifters. Engine block and turbocharger are covered by the failure of an internally lubricated part, as are seals and gaskets.
Covered transmission and transfer case components bands, clutch packs, gears, pumps, shafts, shift forks, shift rails, synchronizers, solenoids, torque converter, bell housing, vacuum modulator, transmission mounts, and transmission pan. Seals and gaskets are covered, when replaced as part of a qualifying repair.
Drive axle/final drive housings are covered by the failure of an internally lubricated part, as are seals and gaskets when replaced as part of a qualifying repair. All internal lubricated parts are covered, including axle shafts, differential cover, universal joints and yokes, constant velocity and double offset joints, drive shaft center bearings, supports, and propeller shafts. Components not listed in the above three sections are not covered.
